CubeOne V2.3 of E-Global System (CEO Hee Chang Kang) is an encryption solution with index search possible for large DBs.

 

This product enables index search through encrypted index, and the technology has been registered for patents and certified as NEP by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards and as procurement excellence products, and recently designated as an excellent IT product by the Korea Post.
It has been considered that index search is impossible with Index encryption, therefore, a DB could not be encrypted. However, E-Global System developed an algorithm that supports index search and laid a technical foundation independently.
CubeOne encrypts both table and index in case of data for encryption, and through this encrypted index, index search is possible. Due to characteristics of large a DB, running 24 hours, it is possible to construct without interrupting for several days and enhance DB functions after the construction.

 

Also, it does not store data for encryption in plain mode anywhere in the server, preventing any access by unauthorized personnel, and manages keys in accordance with encryption module verification standards of the National Intelligence Agency.
The advantage of this product is not only to meet security standards but it is also operational as clients expect, and when it is operational, people tend to forget that it is encrypted, lowering responsibility for operators to manage it.
It is an explanation of E-Global System that by securing algorithm and key confidentiality, the product goes beyond an encrypted product, meeting security factors and realization of actual environment by removing limitations in operation.  
CubeOne V2.3 has a shield function to prevent any leak attempt by changing its application’s name and password.

 

In actuality, the sites that the company has constructed encrypted all Social Security numbers for index search, and there have been few problems in operations due to limitations. Also, Graphic User Interface (GUI) is provided to finish jobs with convenience, and an encrypted table is also managed by GUI to increase users’ convenience.
